Model MGH

Medium-Duty Gear-Reduced Hoist Operator

Model MGH is a medium-duty gear-reduced hoist operator for use on small rolling doors and grilles and industrial sectional doors with high or vertical lift. It features a high-starting torque motor, heavy-duty wormgear reducer, and floor-level chain hoist with electrical interlock for emergency door operation.

STANDARD FEATURES
Motor: Powerful 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP single-phase motor with instant reverse and internal automatic reset thermal overload. Removable without affecting limit switch settings. Operator/Motor Control: Dependable dual relay system (NEMA 1 enclosure).

Wiring Type: All operators are factory preset to C2 wiring, providing momentary contact to open and stop, with constant contact to close. Momentary contact to close (B2 wiring) can be easily set. The operator is pre-wired to accept a sensing device, photoelectric sensors, radio controls and most types of access control equipment.

Drive Reduction: Heavy-duty wormgear-in-oil-bath speed reducer.

Push Button Station: 3-button station for OPEN/CLOSE/STOP functions is standard for all operators. Controls with 1, 2 and 3 buttons are available.

Construction: NEMA 1 type electrical box, heavy-duty 11-gauge steel frame with baked-on powdercoat finish, all reduction sprockets drilled and pinned to shafts.

External Radio Control Terminal: External terminals provide quick, convenient connections for universal radio controls.

Warranty: 2-year warranty.

CONTROL ACCESSORIES AND OPTIONS

CPS® Commercial Protector System®: (recommended) A "non-contact" photo safety sensor designed to sense an obstruction and signal the door operator to reverse to open.

Sensing Edge: (recommended) Senses an obstruction and signals door operator to stop or reverse upon contact. An electric or pneumatic sensing device can be added to bottom edge of door.

Radio Control: Universal transmitters and receivers are available to signal the operator to open and/or close.

Rolling Door Interlock Switch: Interlock switch disables the operator control circuit when a manual door lock is engaged, preventing damage to the door and operator
